Our Team
Dirk van Reenen - Founder and Operations Manager
Dirk manages the day to operations of the company and is the head of business development
Being a husband and father is the most important thing to him. He grew up in South Africa and moved to Crowell TX with his family at age 14. After high school he studied business at West Texas A&M. Dirk is also a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy and a Texas licensed real estate agent. He posses a wide knowledge of asset marketing and liquidation. He is also well versed in contracting, systems, and negotiations. Dirk has been the recent recipient of various prestigious awards in the business community.

Paige Dickerson - Administrative and Marketing Director
Grant James - Auction Manager
Grant heads up auction preparation for the company. He is tasked to get the auction site ready and ensure that all assets are in place and ready for auction.
Kristin van Reenen - Client & Customer Relations
Kristin is a wife and mother foremost and secondly she takes excellent care of our clients and customers. She is a small town Texas girl with a big personality that loves people and that makes her a perfect fit for this position at Caprock Auctions. She ensures that everyone is informed and taken care of at auctions helps create a fun and exciting atmosphere.
Lindsey Fetzer - Event Manager
Lindsey has the crucial task of ensuring that everything runs smoothly with our auction events. She takes care of technology setup, registration, checkout and everything in between. Her friendly personality and attention to detail are just two of the attributes that make her a great addition to our team.

Gary Whitley - Asset Agent
Gary heads up the Classic Car Division
Gary has been actively involved in the automotive industry for 40 years. It all started with 1941 Willys with a big Oldsmobile engine years ago at age 15 and evolving into owning and restoring many 60's and 70's muscle cars. A constant passion for such vehicles and the 'Detroit Iron' mystic has possessed him every day since. Gary was there when the Super Stock wars were at a peak and factory participation was in a fever. In between that and hands on building, restoration, and racing, Gary continued to dive deeper into associations with SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturing) NHRA (National Hot Rod Assn) and then a long term affiliation with General Motors. Upon that, a love of selling and buying anything from brand new models to classic, vintage, and racing vehicles. Gary posses a wealth of knowledge about cars, model options, proper title work and putting buyers and sellers together by sharing his enthusiasm of a great automotive era. "There is no better job in life than to love what you do, and do what you love day in and day out!" Just a note, Gary has raised 2 great sons. The oldest is now carrying on the same automobile legacy in Austin, Texas and the youngest is attending Amarillo College.
