Auctions galore!
This month has been packed full of auctions with two residential real estate, one commercial real estate, one business liquidation and three estate auctions! It has been a lot of fun for us to see how all of these auctions ended up. All three real estate auctions had bidding up to the very end -- most bidding happens in the last half-hour of an auction in these cases, and that held true in all three of these.
The estate auctions were portions of the Morton estate, which we held an estate sale earlier this year for as well. One auction had a variety of collectibles, another was sports memorabilia and the third was coins and stamps. We had the chance to meet many fun and interesting people (both in person and on the phone) who were interested in bidding on these items.
Among the items in the collectibles auction was a variety of war medals -- some were British, some were American and some were Nazi. Collectors who came and previewed the medals said that they were authentic and it was really interesting to see so much history in a small box like that.

This is one of the pins that we sold. It was very popular and brought in lots of bids and calls.
We are now looking forward to the fall and to see what the rest of the year has in store for us!
