Classic cars and heatwaves
The first ever Summer's Last Blast Collector Car Auction was the hot place to be Saturday afternoon. The event drew several hundred spectators who watched as we auctioned off eight classic beauties. In all the eight cars went for a combined high bid total of $121,500. We are very excited about next year's event which we know will be even bigger than this one.
As the eight cars purred across the auction block, bids came flying in. The heatwave that has been hitting the Vernon area relented just a little bit so spectators didn't have to suffer the 117 degree temperatures that have become commonplace this summer. A little rain the night before helped cool off the day as well.
We're excited to return to Vernon next year and are looking forward to seeing what beauties we have the chance to auction next year!
